The Real Story: Aaron Carter

Aaron Charles Carter was an American singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor who rose to fame in the late 1990s as a teen pop star. He released multi-platinum albums like Aaron’s Party (Come Get It) and Oh Aaron, appeared on shows such as Lizzie McGuire and Broadway’s Seussical, and competed on Dancing with the Stars. His later years were marked by personal and legal struggles. Carter died in 2022 at age 34.

Colleen Stan (born December 31, 1956) is an American woman who was kidnapped and held as a sex slave by Cameron and Janice Hooker in their Red Bluff Ca. home for over seven years, between 1977 and 1984. At Cameron's trial, Stan's experience was described as unparalleled in FBI history. Janice was granted immunity from prosecution in exchange for testimony, while Cameron was found guilty on multiple charges and sentenced to 104 years in prison.
